The team at the Community Safety Coordination Center will share the City of Chicago’s resources for violence prevention, including re-entry services, gender-based violence, and an interactive session to learn how to use the incident response protocol.

This is a free event! We will provide all climbing gear and instruction. You do not need prior climbing experience. Ages 3 and up! Dress for being outside and climbing (tight fitting pants like yoga pants or leggings).

This Women's History Month event is on learning the powerful story of Henrietta Lacks, the woman whose cells transformed science and medicine, saving millions of lives. Our special guest speaker is Alfred Lacks Carter Jr. The film will be "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks." Refreshments will be served.
