27th Annual UCAN Leadership Awards

UCAN’s flagship fundraiser, the UCAN Leadership Awards is an inspiring annual event held every June. This special evening celebrates the academic and personal achievements of UCAN’s outstanding youth. Each year, UCAN proudly recognizes seven exceptional young people and award them scholarships to support their pursuit of higher education.

The UCAN Leadership Awards highlight the breadth of the organization’s programs and services, showcasing the full impact of UCAN’s work with young people and families. UCAN will proudly present Governor JB Pritzker with the John D. Nichols Impact Award, recognizing his meaningful contributions to Chicago’s youth and families. UCAN is honored to present the Corporate Engagement Award to Nike, Inc., a company that has demonstrated exceptional philanthropic commitment to UCAN and the young people of Chicago. Richard Fleming will be awarded with the inaugural Thomas Vanden Berk Legacy Service Award for his extraordinary commitment, leadership, and enduring impact in service to UCAN’s mission.
